I started doing CrossFit in August of '04, thanks to some needling by Brand X Students (Jason and Ricky) and Jeff Martin. I've never looked back. If look at me and say, well, of course YOU can do it, you are a maniac, then that is the beauty of CrossFit at work. Thursday - 5 rounds 65# Power snatch, Run 400m

Time was horrendously slow but I learned that I can do 75 Power Snatches at 65# so I'm not going to say it was a mistake, just a learning experience. Next time, I'll lower it and go for intensity.
You did 15 reps each round and I did 10 too. I did the 55# but I was thinkin it was still "puppy" scaling so I did 10 reps. Now that I read your comment on my blog, I realize I could have done 15 probably and been "pack." Next time!
I'm really loving CF. I've worked out for years- since I was an athlete in middle school but for the first time, I'm actually ENJOYING it!
