I started doing CrossFit in August of '04, thanks to some needling by Brand X Students (Jason and Ricky) and Jeff Martin. I've never looked back. If look at me and say, well, of course YOU can do it, you are a maniac, then that is the beauty of CrossFit at work. Clean and Jerk Pr
Clean and Jerk 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 (from Wed 2/22)
65# 70# 75# 75# 85# 85# 90# 90# 95# (PR) 95# (fail...um ouch! going to be a nice bruise there.) 85# (fail) 85#
Not dropping under fast enough. That is a PR by 10# maybe 15#.
Thanks! I am working toward getting 100lb o/h lifts. The clean is really my weakness. These were basically power cleans. I wonder why they say the clean is a missed power clean. The power clean seems the easiest - like I said, I'm not quick on the drop.
Really I want to clean 95 so I can practice doing heavy thrusters so that the 65# thrusters will be easy. Gotta get that sub 5 fran so all the boys will think I'm cool.
