I started doing CrossFit in August of '04, thanks to some needling by Brand X Students (Jason and Ricky) and Jeff Martin. I've never looked back. If look at me and say, well, of course YOU can do it, you are a maniac, then that is the beauty of CrossFit at work. Row 5K - 23:36
I was able to keep a pretty steady pace throughout. Tried to keep the Meters per second at 35...varied between 34 and 38. Not bad.
I can only find a record of a 2k row at 8:52 so this is my longest rowing distance. Did in place of the Run 5k WOD.

I think that's a great pace! Especially for that distance on the row machine- that's tough!
I wish our gym had one- we have to drive to the 2nd closest gym whenever the WOD calls for a row.

I was pretty happy with it. Short strong thighs come in handy on rowing.
I have to row at the office gym, because I don't have one at home and at Brand X it's tough to find an open slot for one, its so busy there now!
