I could have done better, but I could not get more than 4 pushups in a row. errr...in any case....

Thanks, Patrick. What was really frustrating is that I know I can do sets of 10 for a couple of rounds, but I think the Thrusters killed my arms. Something about opposing movements being lethal, like doing pull ups and thrusters. Or that damned monkey bar workout. That was AWFUL.

I had the same problem with the push-ups. I started with 5s, dropped to 4s and then determined I wasn't going below that even if I blew my shoulders out to do it.

I guess the front delt/upper pec. involvement in the thrusters does it? Triceps felt OK, but then you use a more tricep focussed push-up than me.

I am going to try the version with cleans next time. That one took me 13:26 last time. I'm thinking sub 6:00 ;)
