Hey there! I was wondering what you have been up to.

Bas Ruten is a MMA/Boxing/Fitness superstar who created some training tapes (CD's now) for fight training.

On the tape he calls out the various punch combinations like a 1-2 punch or a series of different things like uppercut, right straight, left hook etc.

These regular punches, I referred to the Bas Rutten punching CD, not because they are Bas Ruten punches, but because it is a Bas Ruten CD for punching.

You might want to check into getting a copy if you want to train punching at home. He also has a workout CD that is hilarious as well as a very difficult workout.

Don't be a stranger! I hope your training is going well.

believe it or not i do know who Bas is! Ha ha! I thought it was some kind of special punching technique. Yeah, trying to get back into shape now that the weather's warming up. running again, working out. as a change of pace i'm working the royal canadian air force 5bx exercises the kind of stuff you did in high school but still tough! i'm combining that with some stuff from a book called Streetfighting as a Martial Art--just basic stuff: finger pushups, situps, hand grips. Hey being a Met fan I shaved my head in May! Gotta support the team! I think I may keep it this way for the summer! Getting ready to go body surfing maybe this weekend! good talking again!
